Delhi Police Home Guard Exam Pattern 2024:-
The Scheme of the Delhi Police Home Guard written Pattern test is given below:
- The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
- There will be a composite paper carrying 80 questions.
- Each question shall carry 01 mark. Paper will be of total 80 marks.
- The duration of test will be 01:30 hours (90 minutes).
- The candidate must obtain 28 marks i.e. 35% in the written test for being considered for Stage-II.
Question paper will bilingual in Hindi & English languages.
There shall be no written test for Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAMF personnel, if their number remains less than
10% of overall vacancies after qualifying PMET
Delhi Home Guard Syllabus 2024:
The question paper will be 10th Class from the following topics:-
Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, History, Culture & Topography of Delhi, Constitution of India, Ancient Indian History and Culture, Geography and General Knowledge, Current Affairs.
Award of Bonus Marks:
- The Bonus marks would be awarded to the candidates as per the bonafide claim following the fulfillment of the following as submitted by the applicant in his/her application. However, the same will be verified during Document Verification, and on any false information/claim, the candidature shall be rejected.
- A maximum of 20 marks as the bonus will be awarded as per the following details:
- i) Bonus Marks for NCC (5 Marks Maximum) :
a) NCC Certificate ‘C’ Class – 05 Marks
b) NCC Certificate ‘B’ Class – 03 Marks
c) NCC Certificate ‘A’ Class – 02 Marks - ii) Bonus marks for Experience as Home Guards
3 years and above experience as Home Guard Volunteer – 10 Marks - iii) Bonus Marks for Experience in Civil Defence
03 years and above experience as Civil Defence Volunteer – 05 Marks - iv) Having a certificate of Part Time Instructor Course or minimum two Civil Defence Advance courses from CTI-Delhi or any one course from NCDC-Nagpur/CTI-Bangalore. – 05 Marks
DGHG Delhi Home Guard Selection Process:
- Physical Measurement and Efficiency test
- written test.
- Merit
- Medical examination
Only those candidates who qualify in Physical Measurement and Efficiency test (PMET 1,600 meters race and
measurement of height) can appear in written test. Selection will be made as per Merit which shall be finalised by adding Bonus marks wherever applicable to the written examination marks. Selected candidates will have to
qualify Medical examination and will have to submit Police Clearance Certificate which can be obtained from Delhi Police website. Detailed instructions are available on enrolment portal and website of DGHG.

- Height: Male: 165 CMS, Female: 152 CMS
- Running Male: 1600 Meter
- Upto 30 Years: 06 Minutes
- 30-40 Years: 07 Minutes
- 40-45 Years: 08 Minutes
- Running Female: 1600 Meter
- Upto 30 Years: 08 Minutes
- 30-40 Years: 09 Minutes
- 40-45 Years: 10 Minutes
